Research Analyst - Strategic Consulting and Research Group

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic Research Analyst to join our Strategic Consulting Research Group.

We have an entry-level opportunity for a college graduate with a sharp, inquisitive mind, and problem-solving abilities.

Primary duties include:

  • Conducting, analyzing and assimilating secondary research including manual and database searches
  • Reading/assimilating articles
  • Preparing abstracts, and organizing them into reports/report sections/briefings on an ongoing basis.
  • In addition, conduct primary research, including executive and other interviews (usually via telephone). Gradually move to more sophisticated interviewing and in-depth competitive intelligence;

    Perform secondary research tasks, which may include:
    • Subject and company file searches,
    • CD ROM and database searches,
    • Hand searches of publications
    • Government data research, and other searches of published information.
    • Write, edit, and proofread reports.
    • Work with team to analyze research results and formulate conclusions, implications and recommendations for clients, as a means of developing strategic capabilities.
    • Manage report production.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, attention to detail, exceptional communication skills and computer proficiency. Strong writing and analytic skills a must.

Experience in any of the following fields would be helpful: Finance, Banking, Insurance, Technology, Telecom, Marketing, Automotive, Energy/Utilities, Chemicals/Biochemcials, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Technology, Logistics and Transportation.
